Elimination of methylene blue dye by nano clinoptilolite zeolite from aqueous solutions, kinetic and thermodynamic studies

چکیده مقاله:
In this paper we study kinetic and thermodynamic parameters for elimination of methylene blue (MB) dye from aqueous solution by application nano clinoptilolite zeolite (NCZ). The effects of some important parameters such as kinetic and thermodynamic parameters were studied. It was found that second-order kinetics model (r2 = 0.9994) is more better than first-order kinetics model (r2 = 0.1688). The change in Gibb’s free energy (∆G°) , the change in entropy (∆S°) and the change in enthalpy (∆H°) were also investigated and calculated for this removal. this process had negative changes in Gibb’s free energy and positive in enthalpy and entropy. This adsorption was an endothermic and spontaneous process.
