Sustainable super-fast adsorptive removal of DBA and BPA from water by a Novel nanocomposite adsorbent

چکیده مقاله:
The present study focused on the ultrasonic assisted simultaneous removal of dibenzyl amine (DBA) and 2-biphenyl amine (BPA) from aqueous media following using Magnetic Fe3O4/bentonite nanocomposite as a new adsorbent. The structure and morphology of nanocomposite was identified by SEM and XRD analysis. The evaluation and estimation of equilibrium data from traditional isotherm models display that the Tempkin model indicated the best fit to the equilibrium data, while the adsorption rate efficiently follows the pseudo-second-order model. The obtained thermodynamic parameters (i.e. namely, ΔG0, ΔH0 and ΔS0) showed that the adsorption on the nanocomposite was endothermic and spontaneous. Results indicated that the synthesized nanocomposite may be costly adsorbents for organic removal.
