Fabrication of polyethersulfone based nanofiltration membrane modified by Tio2 nanoparticles

In the recent research, PEs-Tio2 are made by the phase-inversion method by the method of casting the solution. In this method, polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) was used as a cavity and N-N dimethyl acetamide (DMAC) as a solvent, and from the nanoparticle Tio2 as an (additive) membrane construct. Water permeability and salt Rejection flow tests, and water content and water contact angles were used to describe the membrane. Water flux showed the tendency to maintain a good stability. By using the atomized nanoparticle Tio2 to the solution, the salt rejection increased sharply and improved with the use of nanoparticles Tio2. the water content increased by applying more than 0.05 wt% of the nanoparticles Tio2 and then decreasing. The water contact angle also decreased.
